Bees

Please tell me as soon as you can....how can I keep the bees away from my feeder.  They are a nuisance to my hummers.

• Try spraying the ports of your feeder with a spray vegetable oil (like Pam).  Don't use the butter flavored -- it makes a mess. 

• Try using bee-resistant feeders with ports so small that bees can't get into them. Bees almost always give up on these feeders unless nectar is accidentally splashed on the surface of the feeder.  So always wipe them clean.
